This module has four sections

Section 1: Introduction

This section provides a foundational understanding of anger and its management in the context of climate distress. It also introduces the value of arts-based tools for channeling and coping with this anger, laying the groundwork for exploring practical, creative techniques to manage emotional responses effectively.

Section 2: Building awareness

In this section, we’ll explore how to identify the signs of anger, understand its triggers, and recognize its physical and emotional manifestations—laying the foundation for deeper self-reflection and insight

Section 3: Reflective practice

In this section, we’ll build on the awareness developed earlier by delving into the range of emotions that often accompany anger. Together, we’ll explore creative strategies for coping with these complex feelings in meaningful and constructive ways.

Section 4: Implementation

In this section, we’ll develop practical strategies for working with anger—recognizing it not as a problem to eliminate, but as a valid and meaningful part of our emotional experience. While distress in climate-related work may be inevitable, learning to manage it effectively is key to sustaining long-term engagement and well-being.
